Data deletion request

PlantThis is provided by StarryAI.

You can request deletion of data associated with your PlantThis account without deleting the account itself by emailing our support team.

If the button does not open your email app, send your request to support@starryai.org with the subject “PlantThis data deletion request”.

How to submit a request

1. Email us from the address connected to your account when possible.
2. Include your account email or phone number and sign-in method.
3. Specify whether to delete uploaded photos, identification history, your saved plant collection, or all deletable app data.
4. We may ask for limited information to verify account ownership.
5. Verified requests are normally completed within 30 days.

Data deleted at your request

• Selected plant photos and thumbnails uploaded by your account.
• Selected or all plant-identification results.
• Selected or all entries in your saved plant collection.
• For an “all deletable app data” request, all of the above plus associated usage records.

Data retained

Your PlantThis authentication account and profile remain active because this request does not delete your account. Subscription-entitlement data and the minimum transaction records required for legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations are retained for the period required by applicable law. Deletion-request correspondence may be kept for up to 90 days after completion. Google Play keeps purchase records under Google's own policies.

To delete your account as well, use the PlantThis account and data deletion page.
